The study examines the apologetic pastoral care of the Orthodox Church in the 20th century, proposing a typological representation of it. It focuses on preserving the integrity of the true faith, which constitutes a fundamental component of pastoral ministry. At the same time, it highlights the heretical challenges that emerged during this period due to social transformations such as cultural pluralism, globalization, and rapid technological advancement. These changes, combined with the ideologization of doctrine and pastoral gaps, reinforced religious syncretism and distanced Christians from the teachings of the Gospel, making them vulnerable to heresies and sects. The study records the methods adopted by the Church to address these challenges, emphasizing the importance of pastoral care in safeguarding the human person from the harsh consequences of distorting the Truth.
